I've got to find a nice calm spot to get a good speed avg reading.   Always seems to be strong current and wind each time.   We raced a guy in a Viking at a Dallas demo event  Paddling.   He beat us by only one boat length over a 200 yd sprint.
Rudder can always be altered or changed.    If you want to turn tight circles, this isn't the boat for you.  It's meant to do distance and track straight getting you there.

Sure. But on a Revo the stock rudder can be upgraded to give you better control in larger swells and tighter turned. I would suspect the G2 would see a similar benefit. I'd like to see video of it cruising at a brisk rate on flat water. It's a cool looking boat!

What is the weight capacity and is it designed for standing?  What colors do you plan to offer?

Weight capacity is 420 on this one.   That back end really beefs up the load capacity.. so when you get that 70+ lb halibut... ;D

nice flat area in front of the seat, plus the seat is high enough that it's easy to stand. Or you could even step over the seat to the back deck, maybe have a beer with one or two friends back there.

Going to try mixing the same color options  we already use in production with the original raptor.  Have not tried a camo yet.     Got something specific you'd like to see?  Might be able to ask my molder.

Camo would be cool for ducks. What is the draft?

420lbs is decent.  Though my next kayak is probably going to be a 600lbs capacity model.  I'm not a huge dude, but I want a standable kayak for big game hunting so I can get a better view when necessary.  I want the higher weight capacity to handle me, rifle and other hunting gear, and an overnight shelter kit, and a boned out elk or a not boned out deer or bear.

But that might be a good kayak to consider as an alternative to a Hobie for ocean fishing.

Camo would be a good color for duck hunting (or big game for that matter).  Outside of hunting I like the idea of bright colors that make me more visible to power boaters.

Sumpnz, It sounds like you need a canoe. Mine is 18 1/2 feet, hauls 800 pounds, and is only about 80 pounds.

Maybe, but I don't want a canoe.

The OK Big Game II is what I'm eyeing.  Just keeping my eyes out for alternatives.  Don't have the cash right now, but ACK has them 15% off right now so $1150ish with shipping.  Once we get the house sold and we're moved down closer to Kirkland it might be possible.

Depends on if you're a heavy weight..      The rear "keels"  ride lowest.  you'd likely run in 6" water and be good.

Sumpnz  The NuCanoe might be a good fit for you, gear, and an elk carcass.    Post photo's of that one.
