Rudy I haven't had time to read through treads but has a side pot for biggest king been talked about yet?  I was thinking $20 a person would be cool.

I'd personally be interested in something like that for both halibut and kings.    I'd rather someone else took charge of it and held the funds and such.  I want to keep the "official" derby free with no entry fee.  If we do it, I also would rather do it via PM...I will try and take time today to get a derby wide PM going.

We need a weighing scale...professional kind.  On that note my fish is always bigger than yours.

Sounds like an idea. It would be nice for everyone to pitch in gas money for my trip. LOL!

I was just going to ask if someone had one. set up a tripod with 2X4 or logs.  Weight is always more fun in my opinion.  I hate trying to resist the urge to bleed them though when it's by weight.

Lets do it then, a scale should be easy to setup.

A "real" scale is a commodity... I also think we need one that goes to at least 100 pounds.  preferably 200...that's not going to be easy to find....
