Flow Fins

There is a video of the flow fins being used on a Revo. Any of you tried the mods yet?

Saw that this morning,  dude said he had to beef up other parts of the drive too though.

I'll be interested to see how the flow fins work in a Revolution or an Outback.  It's possible that they are larger than desirable for maximum efficiency in a sit-down pedal kayak.  For example, when bicycling, you can go faster and with less effort by pedaling with a rapid cadence and relatively lightly, than you can by pedaling slowly and with a lot of effort.  I suspect that mirage drive fins which were three feet long and a foot wide would be so much effort to pedal that they wouldn't work well.  But it's also possible that the flow fins would be faster than the turbo fins, without a lot more effort.
