started my vacation so i thought i should get the boat out. headed out to rooster rock and launched about 3:30, a little hungover and proceeded to paddle about 2-3 miles upriver and then across to the washington side. there was a lot of honeybees in the water, kinda of wondered why but did not think to much about it. started fishing some place where the brush was in the water and then got bombarded by bees lit out of there fast. went over to the oregon side beached the boat and ate a banana while rerigging my fly rod and saw a freakin squirrel on my boat about 2 feet from me, have not seen squirrels that aggressive since davis lake. threw it a few peanuts and took off and fished my way down to rooster rock throwing zonkers and trout magnets, lost 2 none to hand. hmmmm.... paddled back to my truck and walked up to get in and saw 2 of the biggest rabbits i have ever seen about 4 feet from my truck and they never really moved the whole time i was unrigginig. a very cool day with pretty good weather only got rained on once. and not a lot of wind. all in all a fun day cannot wait to get out again

Dude you need to go varmint hunting , you might get a salmon to jump up on the bank for you. Always cool to see wild life except for the bees
