Hey all,

I am arriving at chinook bend campground at around noon on Thursday. Would anyone be interested in fishing Thursday afternoon and Friday? It appears that the conditions will be similar to tourney day.

If time and conditions allow I plan to fish Friday for at least a couple hours.  Though it'll be in the afternoon most likely as I won't get to the campground until mid-morning on Friday.

I arrive Wednesday and may head back to Portland for the clinic in Tigard Wednesday evening.   Not sure a Thursday early wake up call is in the plan.

So Friday AM sounds better to me.

The charters aren't fishing salmon yet because they can't get a boat full. But if you can get out and troll the contour line between the bell and gp, and have a nice offering. It would not be surprising to me in the least if you pick them up.

Dam just finished packing and I see this.  Maybe I should throw some salmon gear in to.

Pink meat is sweet. I'll try and look in the dumpster and report back.

As of a few days ago the coho out of Depoe bay have been slow to show. You should know pretty early on in the morning if they're there or not, then continue on with your jigging if the latter.

I'd like to try to catch something even if Saturday is a washout.  I'll arrive tomorrow late morning most likely.  I'll be heading to a relatives place tonight in Portland, the heading to Depoe tomorrow.

I am going to try to fish Newport Friday as an option.  I have fished it a lot from the jetties, but not from a kayak.  Low tide is just before 10am so I hope to be there about 9am.

Being retired, they pay me when I go fishing, therefore I am kind of a professional fisherman.
