I'll be there but I won't have a "small rod " I am dangerous low on halibut after the family got some of it strictly a meat run for me although I'm excited to see everyone and see the tourny results

:spittake:  I'm doing the same.  I broke a Barbie reel while trying to spool braid lines.  This thing is pos!  Besides, I watched kardinal losing that big halibut video too many times.

Looks like the tides are good for an early morning and the weather looks good as well.   Are we officially meeting, cause tinkerbell and I  want to be on the water fairly early.

I'll be there late Friday.  I'll need a spot to throw down my 1man tent-cot.  Best guess is arriving 9 pm.

Don't you mean "fairy early"?  Did you get the tinkerbell pole that plays magical fairy sounds when you hit the casting button? I got that one and it's delightful!

lol.  I'm thinking a 6am ish start if rules allow as well.  I need to consider hitting some reds for the parents if time allows and we can get luck early.

Unless you're really familiar with WG, I'd push your launch time back a few hours at least. That's low tide, slack won't be for about another hour or more. You're going to be fighting the tide hard, or you'll be signing up for a 10 hour day on the water riding the entire ride swing.
