Could use a few more volunteers to show strong for or first event, we have 7 veterans registered as of today.

3-6 ft so no self rescue practice 

I have an extra anchor and line I'll bring.

Looks like we will be one to one for our volunteers to vet ratio. Reminder to charge and bring a VHF it you have one as well as an anchor, be prepare for a little rain. Wind shouldn't be too bad.

I have 2 extra vhf radios too that I can bring if any volunteers don't have one.

Sweet Ray bring them, for the rest of you fellas if you can transport water for cleaning the gear please do as we will be cleaning the gear lakeside as we're loading it. Also if you can bring a tub or two of night crawlers. I'm thinking worms and bobbers are going to slay the trout Saturday.

We are still a go for Cape Mears in the morning, see you there.

In keeping with annoying a certain lingbanger I changed the header line

Want to thank SamM and B-Drew for hooking up to borrow and transport the Portland Chapter equipment as well as yakbass Hdwipmonkey, Mrs.  Monkey and family for bringing gear and grub, heliumhead my son Eric and "bear tooth claw"   for helping set up and take down as well as being there to make a windy rainy day a lot more fun. We didn't get much OTW time as the wind started to push them hard but the 3 out of 7 scheduled vets that did brave the weather had a blast even though "no fish were harmed in the making of this event". We look forward to getting the chapter geared up and doing more events after the winter season passes till then we're going to push hard for donation.

Congrats!  It looks like in the picture the Bobber is way to Big for trout.
