Hey everyone. Thanks for the appoval. I'm in NE Tacoma.  Just got my first yak. A 15.5 Jackson Kayak Kraken. Some of you may have seen it on the fishing pages on Facebook. Anyhow. Glad to be here.

Hi and welcome. I am also pretty new and am learning the ropes. Feel free to send a message my way if you are planning on heading out and don't mind a tag along.

I'm also new to the group and kayak fishing and I'm about half-way between you to I think.

Have a trident 13 getting set up reasonably well.  I've paddled a lot in sea kayaks and fished a lot just not in a yak.  I've been hitting a few lakes east of Kent a bit.  Have done some crabbing and been out in some good winds.

Will be gone for a week or so now but wouldn't mind meeting up as well, for a salt or fresh water run or two.

If it doesn't get windy, I'm thinking of heading out this weekend to Golden Gardens park to do some bottom fishing for flounder if you guys are interested in joining. It'll probably be scattered showers, but I'm hoping that makes it less crowded out there.

Out of town for a while but will check in later.  Golden Gardens is a nice place to get some experience.  Watch the boats leaving the boat ramp in a hurry.

Thanks for the tip! I haven't launched out of there yet, do you just drag the yak down to the beach, or is there a specific spot I need to look for?
