Are you looking for scupper plugs?  And if so, why?  The purpose of scupper holes is to let water drain out of the cockpit, foot wells, and rear storage area of your kayak.  I have never wanted to plug up my scupper holes.  But that may just be me. Do any of you other ladies and gentlemen on the forum use scupper plugs?

My Predator had one-way plugs - had a diaphragm built-in. No water in from below, still drained water from above. They drained SLOWLY, however, so...pretty useless.

A solution in search of a need, IMO. If you're in conditions where water is coming UP through the scuppers, it is probably sporty enough that you want fast draining, too.

That's how I see it, anyway.

The only ones I have in were there under the seat of my ocean kayak trident 13 when I got it.  Honestly, I've never paid any attention to them. But it might be true they prevent entry and allow exiting water to pass.  I've taken a wave and the seat area is never in standing water, so I guess the work.  I wouldn't put scuppers in any of the other holes.

This is what REI says about them.

Details
•Not only do the Ocean Kayak Scupper Valves help prevent water from entering the scupper holes, but they actually drain water that may have entered your boat while you paddle
•The Ocean Kayak Scupper Valves are the equivalent to medium-size scupper stoppers

I plug the front hatch of my thresher 14. I suppose I don't need to plug it, but I'd like to keep the area mostly dry when launching. I haven't found a problem with keeping it plugged. Otherwise, I let the rest of them do their thing.

I like the one way valves but they wont fit. Mine use oval.  Ive seenpeople use practice foam golf balls in the round ones, but not in the oval ones like mine has. I want to pug the fronts for lake fishing cause ill have my pup with me and dont want her all wet.

Try bi-mart or a hardware store for the black rubber stoppers. You can shave them as needed and even drill a hole through them for a line and then fill with marine goop. I have these on one of my tarpons and they work great. I'll try and remember to take a picture tonight.
