The North Oregon Coast Chapter of Heroes on the Water will hold our Inaugural Event at Cape Meares Lake State Park, in Tillamook, on Saturday, October 1st, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

There are 8 seats available for active or retired military personnel, first responders, and their families.

Kayaks, gear, tackle, food and drinks are provided free of charge to participants.  Participants are responsible for their own transportation, fishing licenses, and permits.

Fishing conditions should be excellent with the addition of 300, trophy-sized trout being stocked in the days leading up to the event.

If you would like to volunteer to guide and assist our heroes, or want to recommend a great day on the water to a hero, more information is available on Facebook and Eventbrite.

See you on the water!

The fish bite twice a day - just before we get here and right after we leave.
