Sunset Bay Monday(playing hookie down by the beach)

Heading down to catch the last of low swell for a bit: 

 .MON...E WIND 5 KT...VEERING TO S IN THE LATE MORNING AND AFTERNOON. WIND WAVES 2 FT OR LESS. MIXED SWELL W 2 TO 3 FT AT 8 SECONDS AND S 2 FT AT 14 SECONDS

Before this comes in: 


WED...S WIND 5 TO 10 KT. WIND WAVES 2 FT OR LESS. SW SWELL 6 TO 7 FT. PATCHY FOG IN THE MORNING.  .WED NIGHT...S WIND 10 TO 20 KT. WIND WAVES 3 TO 5 FT. SW SWELL 8 TO 9 FT. CHANCE OF RAIN. 

THU...S WIND 25 KT. WIND WAVES 7 FT. SW SWELL 8 FT. 

FRI...S WIND 30 KT. WIND WAVES 7 TO 8 FT. SW SWELL 9 FT... BUILDING TO 11 FT.

Lets get it.... Tired of Salmon fishin'!!.....Can't even think about it anymore...until Tuesday 

It seems the weather man wasn't very accurate concerning the wind this morning. I arrived at Sunset at 8:15am, and there were already whitecaps offshore. Very little swell but lots of wind chop. Roy, Ralph, and Wayne were already to launch, but I soon caught up with them. Fished for about 2 1/2 hours, and about 2 hours into it, hit the spot. I managed to land 4 blacks before the wind chased us back into the bay. If I would have had a drift chute, I know I would have limited. Now I know what I am going to use the PC tourney gift certificate for! By the way, all the fish were caught on the Turman squidleys.

Yea, they were way off on this one. pretty rough, except for up to  200 yards away from the south cliffs, stay tucked in there and it was pretty good.. 
Glad you guys caught some fish. I caught one big black in the wedge between two rocks, one towers overhead, it's a cool spot.

Then i remembered i forgot to put my garbage can out and tried to haul butt back in time, but missed it anyway. Should have just stayed out fishing....
