nope, 180 drives come standard on 2017 boats coming out later this Fall.  the picture clearly shows a GT drive, the reversing pull cords on a 180 drive would be seen if it was that.  cheers, roger

Hobie website calls it a "low-profile performer". 

Low-Profile in the water opposed to the Pro-Angler which is a lot bigger. A lot of people are going in the inflatable direction due to how easy it is to travel with, along side how light it is.

agreed, that's why sold my PA12 to buy an i11s....

did you double check your original post, this is a 2016 demo boat right?  I think that means it should have a GT drive and not a 180 drive?

Probably best to just call the shop. Try the kayak shed in hood river too, they have them in stock and they ship.

I called the shop and the person on the line said he thought they were still the same price and with the 180 pedals. He said he would check and call back, no call back. Will keep trying that's a great price.

I just bought one from Austin Kayak for $1714.00 including shipping to Alaska. I saw a couple on e-bay and a few other sites if you are unable to pick this one up, but Rodger is right those are not the 180 drive fins.  Also you will want to pick up some of the turbo fins to put on it.  I believe I read there was something with the sailing fin as well, I was going to PM Rodgerdodger about it when I get home later this month.  Hell if it handles as well as I hope out in the ocean I might just pick up another one. Good luck.
