Fisherman from Grays Harbor area, Been on the local rivers for past couple years but now wanting to expand offshore and I am currently in the process of hunting down a sit on top style kayak for that purpose. Just looking to fully utilize my area best I can and love salt water fishing. Hope I can learn and be a contributing member of the forum.

Pleased to meet ya. I have been mainly fishing the Copalis, Hump and North River the past 2 years out here. I used to live in Nags Head North Carolina and worked off a charter boat. I miss the salt water fishing and have been really sad at the fish options from shore here in Washington (Hence wanting to get offshore.) Probably run across you at some point..

Made a trip up to Portland to take my girlfriends daughter shopping for homecoming dresses, after a long painful shopping experience we found what we needed and I managed to stop in at Next Adventure just before they closed to check out the weekend sale that was going on.

A friendly employee told me I should go check out there paddle sport store a few blocks away and said he "Knew the owner" and they would stay open for me.. He personally walked me over there (Turns out he was the owner) and handed me off to a very helpful kayak guy..

Long story short I was offered a really good deal and left with a Trident Ultra 4.3.. very happy with the purchase and now focusing on what I need to do to rig it up and getting proper clothing for my future kayak fishing adventures..

You have to be in Ocean shores. Way too many deer there.
Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent
