I don't have anything fancy kayak wise but I have put it in the cowlitz a couple times and a couple other small rivers. I'm wanting to do a humptulips trip for some coho in October possibly just to paddle and fish bank spots all the way down I've got gear to share and I'm a bobber fisherman so plenty of eggs . Just looking for someone who shares the passion and wants to kill some fish share some tricks and paddle around. I've fished in the sound all over and the inside jetty at westport so I'm experienced and not a jackass. Haha. I'm in the oly area but I go where the fish are. Or even if someone's got taxi service for my truck I'll take that info to. Thanks in advance.

I live right by the Hump, depending on scheduling I might be up for a trip down the river. My truck can carry two kayaks easily, more if there shorter. I took my 10ft sit in down last season just to get to good bank spots.

If coho fishing is better this year you can kayak down to the mouth of the Copalis as well.. Its nice because you take the outgoing tide to the mouth then just take the incoming back to your vehicle.

That's what I've got a 10 foot sit in with an anchor trolley set up and all that but really I just want to get to some good holes and fish my way down maybe fish some spots in passing. I've got just an explorer but I've fit two up on the roof before and I can also slide mine in the rear hatch and put one up top. But yeah I'm off Wednesdays and sundays. If you want to plan something a ways out and go from there depending on weather and all that. Or if you want to do any other rivers I'm game for just about anything.

Sorry missed that last post and just now got around to reading it (now that things are slow).

I  just got around to ordering a drysuit, my new kayak has not even been on the water yet. I am going to try and get out for some crabbing here soon in the bay.

Hey LandofRath---- did you get out on the Copalis River any last month ?
I used to fish there a lot right across from the Green Lantern ... putting in at the little mini-golf course there. Had many 1st on the Copalis--- grand daughter's 1st fish ever ( a 17 lbs silver) , grandson's 1st fish ( a nice searun cutty) and a few others. A nice river to fish.
Hope you got in on some of those nice silvers . They have a nice run .

Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

Have not got out much at all this year, got busy with my first year hunting and lots of camping.
But as I said I will be back on the water here shortly.
