Hey Mojo, thanks for all the effort you put into these. I was not able to attend this year, but I know they are a lot of work and appreciate you making it happen!

Awesome work Shannon! I wish I could've made it. Instead I was in Tahoe where it SNOWED in June. Glad to see the good turnout and tons of money raised for HOW.

Another great job Mr. Anderson. Great prizes for all the winners , great time for all the folks that didn't win. And we all appreciate all the posters that brought the rest of us along. So... a huge THANK-YOU .
This is the 1st TBKD that I have not attended , including the first get together in 2014 where we only had 8 guys there. It is awesome to see this event grow and benefit others now and in such a great way. That means there has been a lot of ground work behind the scene done , for the most part by one person. And he has done a stand up job. Thank-you MoJo Jojo.
I'm hoping my health will allow me to attend again in future years. I have always had a good time in Tillymook. It would be fun to bring Seahorse (my wife Lori) too. Unfortunately , she took a tumble on the 4th and broke her hip. It's all repaired and just needs time to heal now. And it will heal. She's pretty stubborn and determined to get past this set-back.
  Sorry to get off topic.
Great tournament Shannon. Love the belt buckle for a top prize. this will only get better as more folks join our passion and learn that fishing Tillamook Bay is a blast.

And... finally edited the salmon video...

Kayaking without wearing a PFD is like drunk driving.  You can get away with it for a while, but eventually someone dies.

Too many salmon to count - my share included - are lost at the net. Great job with that and nice video!

Awesome job!  I thought that fish was going to back out of the net.  That was a close one.

Love the video!! The chest camera POV always gets my blood racing in a situation like that since I know what you're going through in trying to net the fish and secure it!! Nice work!

Thanks ya'll!  I figured getting it in the net is the part worth watching.  I've got 10 minutes plus of post net video where I'm trying to figure out what to do with all the crap of the deck of the yak.  Bonk stick on the same leash as lip grips, lip grips under salmon, rod under salmon, hooks in salmon, etc.  Round two would have been much smoother, and I'd have pulled the net on the left side where it was leashed instead of running out of leash with it pulled on the right.. derp!

  Ya did good Yippie,
Thought for sure that salmon was gonna get away from you. Indeed---lost at the net --- is the lament of too many salmon fishermen. Hell.....you were lucky it didn't go all haywire in your lap. It did not look to be all that secure there either. More than one salmon has jumped ship right out of a guy's lap.
A suggestion from one who has been there------ as soon as you have a salmon in your kayak, get 'em on a game clip and "secure that fish". Then worry about hooks and nets and other shit. But please----secure that fish first.
Nice salmon and great win. I love that belt buckle. ::) ::) ::)

Am I the only one not welling up with sympathy for YK's tale of woe about all the troubles and strife in landing his salmon ?

The buckles bad ass! I'd go pick up a pair of wranglers and a long sleeve button up to go with it and walk around the next event with my shirt tucked in, my thumbs hooked on it and my hips pushed forward, all like sup bi%{*'s!
Seriously, I would, and I totally think you should. [emoji16]
