This subject has probably been covered before but since I'm a noob here goes. One of the best investments I've made was paying a little extra to get  a relief zipper in my semi-dry suit. This may not seem like a big deal to you young guys, but when your in your 60's and your prostate is the size of Rhode Island, it is a "big deal".

Razz speaks the truth!  If you buy a dry suit which doesn't have a pee zipper or other gender-appropriate accommodations for peeing while wearing the suit, you will be very very very very sorry.

If your prostate is the size of Rhode Island, you need to have a "ream job".  I put mine off WAY too long and finally did something after being desperate once too many.  The operation only took about 30 minutes (plasma tool) and I went from a trickle meandering through a dry creek bed to the Amazon River.  Talk about relief!

Uhh . . . What favors the use of a wetsuit?  That you don't need to wear a Depends diaper under a wetsuit, because you can just pee directly inside it?

I wear a wetsuit and had the zipper added. That being said, while on the water and needing relief, digging out the "faucet" can be difficult while sitting.
Sometimes ya just hafta shove yer thumb up yer ass and yell snake to get it come out. :banjo:

Thats what I've heard from scuba diving acquaintances. They may have been fibbing.

No surfers even say you can just go but when I ask them to go sit on a park bench for 3+hours after peeing in there big boy pants they always say "pass" go figure.

I just ordered a Kokatat Supernova angler suit. I didn't order the new one (Gortex) and instead got the older 3L Hydrus. Having a relief zipper was a big deal for me too. I hope it works out. I'll let you all know.
