Glimpsed a lone kayaker trolling on the Little Nestucca this morning. If it was a member here, hope to heck you got into fish!

It was a long and lonely morning but a nice workout. I did manage a small one from the side of the road on the drive home. I have officially parked the kayak for the season.

Way to go!! :banjo:

Should have gone, Barb. I think the tidewater is pretty devoid of fish now and they are going straight up the river now.

Nice to see there are still some around. In fact I did mark fish while I was there but I don't think they will hang out down in tidewater so much now that the water has been high. It was a ghost town except for a couple of guys in a boat who also did not have any luck. I am reverting to bank fishing now unless I get some real flat ocean conditions plus some folks to go with. I was really hoping to get a salmon from the kayak again but it was not to be this season.
