Got out of my yak and put on some waders. My dad has been fly fishing for many years and took our family out in the mountains of North Carolina. What an awesome experience! Completely different from my comfort zone. Check out the video! Not sure how to post pictures on this forum...Hope you enjoy. Subscribe to my YouTube channel if you like! Tight lines! Not to be rude, but is your only intention of using the forum to promote your youtube channel??

The fish bite twice a day - just before we get here and right after we leave.

Aw, come on guys, cut him some slack. Every sponsor-hunting Gulf coast YouTube kayak fishing sensation has to get their start somewhere.

To be fair, the very first reply to his very first post was Polyangler saying "check out my YouTube channel". Have you guys ever seen the Yak Angler forum? That place is just one big YouTube back-patting convention. I'm not sure anyone there even remembers how to write a post with words in it.

It's also entirely useless for information and annoying each other. That's what makes this site nicer and why people are annoyed with sponsor hunting anglers.

Frugalphysio, in case you can't tell, NWKA isn't Yak Angler. Welcome! I hope you learn a lot, and if you ever make it this far from Florida I hope to see you out on the water. This site is definitely a good place to learn, because the fishing techniques and safety precautions we live with are nothing like what you're used to in Florida.
