Hello everyone! New guy here in western Montana. My wife loves kayaking and I always got bored taking her to the lake and fishing off the bank, so I bought a lifetime tamarack angler 120 last spring. I didn't get a chance to use it much last summer but I'm really looking good forward to this spring and summer! Hopefully I can learn a lot from y'all and share some of my adventures. Here is a picture from my maiden voyage last May.

Welcome to the forum!  You must be from someplace in the Flathead Valley, because that's McDonald Peak in the background in your picture, and you were probably on Kicking Horse Reservoir.  There aren't very many kayak anglers in western Montana, so we'll have to get together sometime.

Thank you! You are correct! I live in Ronan. Sounds good to me! From the looks of your posts, you seem to have this kayak fishing thing down to a science!

Excellent photo!  Glad you've joined the pursuit of fish via kayak.  This forum is a great place for information and camaraderie.  You've got neighbors in Idaho, Oregon and Washington in short range and of course lots of places to fish in the Flathead valley.

Well Pete is your guy then a hell of a fisherman, from what I have read of his adventures a hell of a white water yaker. Plus he has some good ideas rolling around in that noodle of his, I enjoyed fishing with him in the ocean out of Pacific City and hope he makes it this year as well.

Welcome. I'm not too far away in Hope, ID just across the border. If you ever want to get together and fish for smallies or pike on the Clark Fork reservoirs let me know.
