what`s your go to rig for springer`s??

You can't beat the tried & true herring but there are an endless amount of ways to rig it to roll according to water conditions. One of my favorite rigs is the prawn spinner but i think thats because i affiliate it with fishing it during nicer weather & warmer conditions. thanks for the info....i asked cuz i rarely get a chance but when i have i use to use storm mag warts in drano and the wind. i have used superbaits and use to do really well casting from "the bench" before the dam got taken out on the white salmon. if i had a go to that will probably be my go to and may break down and buy a protroll. wonder if they are as effective without the protrolls that i know are used and just used by themselves? hope to find out if i can get out. when using a prawn spinner am sure like the name prawns are used? since sandshrimp seem to be used with alot are they good on a spinner too? how bout chunks of herring/anchovy? any go to colors for any of it?
