Is this a new magazine or a new to you/me magazine?   Have you seen it yet?

One of the editors of Fishing & Hunting News, Andy Walgamott is heading it up. I think it's taking up the vacuum that F&HN left.

It's odd because they claim a circulation of 73613 copies.  I'm guessing they must be counting on all the FHN subscribers then.  Either way I'm excited.

Time to give Andy a buzz and see if we can't get kayak fishing involved in the mag in the same way it has "penetrated" WON.   ;)

Hmm. seems we have a mystery.  Found these surfing around, but can't find a pic of the cover or the publisher. It's a magazine, wonder how long it was around?  Maybe it was more canada oriented.

Here's a cached copy of a blog at NW Wild Country (Radio Show) about it  ... http://209.85.173.104/search?q=cache:KaOT_c7t6FQJ:www.nwwildcountry.com/+nw+sportsman+magazine&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=9&gl=us

I couldn't readily find the original.  It's debuts this weekend and Andy Walgamott is behind it.  I've already reached out to them ...  ::)

Thanks Brian, I just sent for a free trial copy. If there is more fishing than hunting, I might consider subscribing.

It looks interesting... I'll have to thumb through a few at the newsstand before I'd commit to subscribing.

Check out this months issue of NWSportsman.  Our own Bryce "Zeelander" has a regular column in it now on kayak fishing.   His first article is about Willamette River sturgeon fishing and I'm lucky enough to have my photo included.  Also, Roy "Coosbayyakker" gets a nod with the photo credit.  If you have any ideas for kayak fishing column topics you'd like covered I'm sure Z wouldn't mind some input.
