American lake trout! 3/19/2017

Hi everyone!

On Sunday the 19th I plan on heading out to try and murder some Kokes.  I will be launching on the Russel landing side on JBLM.  Anyone is free to join me.  I would like to be there around 7am ish. Hopefully the weather stays the same as I looked at it today.

Same here!!  I need to start paddling in prep for Hobuk   Plus I need to fish up some bait.

I am planning on going out tomorrow and Saturday.  I know that Sunday is the better forecast but I am already obligated Sunday.  I will let you all know how it goes. Hoping for a dry morning tomorrow at least.

weather for tomorrow looks good until about 10am then its 85% rain.  Saturday looks rough though.  13-15mph winds and RAIN all day.  Good luck with that

Suuure   I did some self rescue last Sunday and even though I had my dry suit on that water is still COLD lol.

Went out this morning for a few hours before the rain started.  Got one 13 in trout on a rapela.  North end of the lake.

Nice!! I can't say that I have ever caught a trout on a rapala.  Not from lack of trying I can tell you. 



P.S.  Let me know when you are off the lake tomorrow.  The weather is supposed to be pretty terrible.

It was pretty cold today when the rain started and the wind kicked up.  Maybe if I had better gloves.  Don't think I am going out tomorrow.  Hoping for better weather next Saturday.
