Hey guys!! I know here in the PNW we tend to focus a lot on Salmon/Steelhead and Saltwater, but Im trying to figure out how many guys are serious about bass fishing out here. Most of our rivers here on the Eastside of WA are blown out, but the lakes will be picking up soon. Their is a Kayak Bass Fishing tournament series if anyone is interested in competing. I know the Idaho and Oregon guys have started their own bass fishing tournaments, and it would be awesome to see Washington take part as well.

Hope to hear from some familiar people, and see if we can get this thing going. Most of you guys know how to get a hold of me if you have any questions.

I'd be interested in participating but I'd like to see an equitable distribution of tournaments across the state. I was stoked about the Idaho series until I realized the vast majority of tournaments were concentrated in the southern portions of the state.

The problem is finding people who are willing to help with the planning and coming up with the money for permits and such. The club I run out here does meet-ups around the state, but I would like to see some bigger events. I fish for as many species as I can, and would love to work with others to organize a new event.

Awesome Jordan I know you will find the people you are looking for....and as far as Idaho goes yes we have a series but like Tyler said most of the events are pretty much surrounding the Boise area...those of us that don't live close to Boise get to drive a bit to any event and 3 of the events are in the same place!? I attended the first one and one fish won it all, tough day of fishn. There was some changes made the morning of the event because of water flows, which I believe raised a few brows so I am curious to see who shows up to the next one. I plan on attending as many as I can but still insure on which ones.
FYI to directors, if your location has any reason for safety precautions then make sure you have a good back up plan (location) don't let all your anglers get ready for something and then change the venue to a pond the morning of the event, there may be a few anglers that never show up again because of lack of planning.
As a director things like this were always a stress builder. Seeing this take place isn't what anglers want and will scare some off. But sometimes thing have to be redirected for safety reasons.

I love to Bass fish and am fishing the Oregon trail. Would love to fish some up in Washington as well, I know there's some killer bass lakes up there.
