well i finally got my new outback rigged up, mostly anyway, after waiting impatiently for everything to arrive through the mail, and finding time to work on it, getting ready to head out to lost creek lake today for the maiden voyage, and do some self rescues, maybe even Cristin it with a fish or two.
pretty much did the standard mods, rectangular hatch, larger rudder, lowrance elite 5ti ff w/total scan transducer, gopro mount in sailing mast, dual battery box, lighted 6 ft whip w/flag.
went with the new kokatat gore tex supernova angler , nrs pfd,and all the necessary safety gear, time to get wet.. ;D

Nice one Danr. You are going to have so much fun it should be illegal.
I find when I try to upload pics that if I don't resize them in a photo editor they are so big that they crash my post. I find if I make them 8x6 the file size comes way down and no problem.

Can't wait to see some pics. I'd like to see how you did your battery box(s) and flag.
You'll love your suit! I wasn't sure at first about the neck seal, but it is sooo much more comfortable than drysuit seals. I stayed totally dry while playing in the water. The relief zipper is really tight so be sure to pull it ALL the way shut😆,that part didn't stay so dry at first.
I had issues loading pics as well, I just had to limit how many I was trying to post at a time.
Good luck on your maiden voyage!

Saw that boat in person today.  Nice, tidy set up, danr, but the boat's too darned clean.  You need to put a few scratches on that shiny hull!

Check the posts in "Drillin and Cuttin'" for ideas about how and where others have mounted their rod holders.

Same thing for me. Feel like I should post pics.  Waiting for my dry suit to show up. The UPS driver thinks I am stalking him. Which in retrospect is kinda true.   ;)
