If the weather holds, is anybody up for Depoe Bay or Sunset next Mon-Wed?

I'm looking at Tuesday and/or Wednesday- would do either Depoe or Sunset Bay (my first kayak trip for either of those two areas, so I'm looking for someone willing to be my babysitter if Someone experienced would do that) ;D.

If there some experienced folks going, I may be in.  Live and work in Depoe Bay!  No sodium experience however.

We met a couple weeks ago out on the water off Depoe Bay. I may be up for Monday and/or Tuesday as well. We need the wind to come down a bit. We should try to coordinate given we are both in Corvallis.

Based on current predictions, looks like Monday afternoon thru even Thursday are good, but I'm not the best at reading those reports, so chime in, all.  I like Monday and Tues. for Depoe Bay, and Wednesday for Sunset Bay.  I have been on salt twice, but both times at Sunset.  Hope we can get a group for both locations!

The predictions for Wednesday at Cape Arago (Sunset Bay) are for 4-6 feet at 7 seconds, with 3.5 foot secondaries perpendicular to the primaries, and winds above 20mph all day.  Depoe Bay is forecast to have winds in the upper teens out of the North, with shortish periods between the primaries all week.

You need to look at as many forecasts as you can and watch the details, especially if you're traveling a distance to get there.

If you go, post pictures so we can see if predictions match the conditions.

The fish bite twice a day - just before we get here and right after we leave.

Monday is now questionable with a N wind building, the rest of the week is a write off.

Am at Depoe on government point as i write this. conditions are doable at the moment but sketchy as it's pretty bumpy looking and pretty breezy. with last couple days am spent so am heading out. the fishing has been nothing short of just phenomenal.

Well, it's 9pm and I'm looking out the window at tall cedars doing a dance in the wind.  My station says it was 14 MPH at 8:05pm.  I don't think AM will be doable.  I can't do Sunday, but I can do Mon or Tues.  Just depends on how it looks then.

Too long a drive from Talent for a few hours on Monday; after that looks like 5 ft swells and winds all day long.  It has to get more favorable sooner or later........right?

mornings are probable but the breeze/winds make for a fast drift when they do get going, may get a couple hours in before that happens?
