I have two fly rods too many.

1.  Redington CPS, 9'6" 8wt, 4 piece (968-4) - $200 ($210 shipped).

The CPS is the most admired rod Redington ever produced.  This one is as new, never fished, never cast - even for practice.  Original sock, tube, and warranty card included.  The shrink wrap is off the handle.

2.  Redington Vapen (Cork handle), 9'6" 8wt, 4 piece (968-4) - $100 ($110 shipped).

This is Redington's new flagship, without the golf club grips.  Fished it once.  Original sock and tube included,  No warranty card.

These were going to be my freshwater salmon and steelhead rods until I decided that one rod that could be used in fresh- and saltwater was smarter than having a stack of special purpose fly rods.

They've been in the closet for more than a year instead of being in the hands of someone who will use them.  And that CPS should be used - it's a truly great rod.

The fish bite twice a day - just before we get here and right after we leave.

They're gone.  Didn't get the trade I wanted, but got one I could live with.
