WTB Family yak - (OK Malibu 2 xl/ similar)

I'm on the hunt for used stable family yak. Something similar to a ocean kayak malibu 2 xl, that can hold two adults and a toddler.

I don't know where you're located but I've seen the Malibu II  a few times on Portland Craigslist.  I have one myself and love it.  I take it to the lake for the kids to play in but it's also a good fishing platform.  I am supposed to trim down my fleet but I can't bring myself to get rid of it.

If you can find a Malibu 2 XL, there's seatting connections for three.  We have one and while it's a little cozy with three, it's a great family yak and crabbing platform

Depending on how you want to use it the S4 could be pretty cool too and it is really easy to motorize.

Jackson Big Tuna is in that price range  as well, not sure where your at but I have one in Tillamook Bay you can try out.

Thanks for the thoughts and input. I was trying to keep the yak under $400. The mix of stability and pirce of the malibu seems quite attractive, but hard to find used...
I'm in olympia, as some have asked.
