Been fishing from an aluminum boat and raft for several years in the Portland area. Kayak fishing videos made it look like a lot of fun, so I got a hobie.

Totally interested in following some experienced folks out of pacific city, depoe bay, tillamook, and Astoria this year.

I can stand to learn some tricks of the trade...like netting. Had a great day on the channel trolling for springers in April - hooked two- but I didn't do the geometry to figure leader length vs rod length vs net reach while sitting. Lost them both. Ha

Thanks mojo, gotta finish some work around the house this weekend, but looking to try PC the following weekend.

Thank you too, Noah. Still had an ok season in the "regular" boat, but I'm looking forward to only kayak fishing this summer and fall.
