Anybody fishing Depoe Bay on Saturday for the Cabazon opener?  Looking to get out early before the wind comes up.  I'm heading out with Pinstriper but he may be out.

Can't make it Sunday, but want to get out there on Wednesday if the forecast is good.

Thinking about it.  Wind forecast is iffy.  It'd have to be one of those "launch super early, back in the harbor by 1100" type of trips.  Will make a decision tomorrow afternoon.

I'm doing the same. Forecast looks good until about 11.  Looking at an early launch as well.  Hopefully the wind forecast improves.

Little Cos and got out last Sunday at Depoe Bay. We launched early and got off the water by noon, as the wind was kicking up and the fog was rolling in.  The Ling bite was hot, along with a few cabbies.  We also caught a handful of black rocks and one china rock.  The black rocks were tough to find, or just weren't interested.

Here's a video from Sunday, in case anyone is on the fence for Saturday!

Nice video Cos.  Pulling on some fish with consistency is sounding real tempting right now.  My last two river trips were slow, starting to forget what it's like to pull on a fish bigger than a 10 inch cutthroat .  My lingcod supply is almost gone anyway, time to re-stock!

I thinking Sunday, July 2.  Wind looks similarly iffy to Saturday.  Anyone else up for Sunday?

Zach, gotta hobie?  Nice man.

Saturday and Sunday look identical on Magic Seaweed, but Sunday looks significantly windier on NWS.  Of course, this could all change with tomorrow's forecast.  Just gotta keep watching it...
