Hello all, John from Redding Ca.  I am brand new to the kayak fishing world. I have purchased a 2017 Hobie Camo Edition fitted with a Lowrance Hook 7 and thus far all I can say is .....why did I wait so long to do this! I have just fished freshwater lakes and would definitely like to fish the Sacramento River (since it runs right through town) and eventually fulfill my bucket list and fish in the ocean in my yak. This sight is very well put together and I am excited to learn as much as i can from the vast knowledge you all share. Thanks for having me and tight lines .

Hi John. There's an active group in your area that participates on the NCKA forum which is a sister site to this one. See you on the coast soon, and welcome!
