Anyone catching pinks on the Snohomish river yet?

I put in at first light on Monday 9-4 at Cady in Snohomish.  Outgoing tide.  Saw a few rollers but very little action near the boat launches.  I was amazed at how many people that had lines in the water on the bank and in boats and kayaks.  On a normal pink run you see fish being pulled in left and right and later in the run the river is literally littered with dead & dying zombie fish.  Nothing like that this year.  Almost everyone I chatted with didn't even have a bite.  Ouch.  I was no different but hey I picked up a few nice jigs and spoons at low tide.  Just before I headed in I picked up a few jigs snagged on logs near a couple who was bank fishing and gave them back to them.  I loved the guy's reaction: 'Righteous man! Thanks dude!'  Made me feel a little better about getting skunked.

If you can paddle up to Douglas bar on a high tide the right side of the island is pretty deep and has a lot of good structure.
