OK, was really planning on hitting the green can, but the rumors of fun catching Atlantics is winning right now.  If you stay inside the Bellingham Bay boundries, which reach to the outside southern edge of Guemes Island, there's a 4 fish limit, 2 of which can be chinook over 22", otherwise.  Atlantics don't count, but if you limited with 4 you can't continue for Atlantics.  Confirmed all this with region 4 WFG.  Called to confirm there's a nice put-in on the tip of Anacortes marked on the map and it's not a huge paddle across and over to the east side of Guemes Island.  WFG said that would be in the "epicenter" of the Atlantic mess.
Short notice, but wondering if anyone is interested.
Maybe a launch in the range of 8:30.  Shoot a PM if you are.

Landed 11 slow rolling 3/8th silver kastmasters off the bottom and vertical jigging on the jumping schools. Probably anything will work just keeping it near the bottom in <20ff of water. Near the net pens on the south end of cypress Island. Probably too far for paddling but would be epic if you made it out there. Focus on the jumping schools and try to stay on top of them. Don't waste your time if they're not showing themselves. Search and destroy.

Fish hard.

Struck out with the salmon, did catch several large rock fish in 60 feet of water on a spoon with the downrigger set at 30 feet. Wish I would've stayed at the green can.  Drop the crab pot and couldn't find it when I went back, wall paneling in the area another group said they watched about Paul two parts. There were only two parts when I dropped mine and mine was one of the two. Good day can't complain .
