Decided to challenge my wife, Sidra, to a little bass tournament from the Hobie Oasis. I had fished this lake the week prior for Tiger Trout but ended up catching good numbers of Largemouth Bass. I though if I came back and threw some larger gear I could pull some big boys out of there. Sidra decided to stick to finesse tactics (trout spoons, spybaits) and that was clearly the right decision as she destroyed me.

It cost me a couple beers and lunch but still a fun time.

Takes a real man to get out-fished by a girl.  I know.  My Granddaughter out-fishes me every time we go out together.    ;D
The fish bite twice a day - just before we get here and right after we leave.

Awesome.  I beat my girlfriend playing Ms Packman the other night.  It felt good to still have the moves. :)

Its the small victories that matter most.

Take it from an old man, you must plan and work very hard to assure that is the outcome more often than not. Art
