Hi All,

Tom here from Fauntleroy/Arbor heights area of West Seattle. I mainly fish close to home in MA 10 or 11, crabbing, salmon fishing, and even on one foolish occasion shrimping from the kayak with full-sized weighted pots (never again).

Only been at it the last couple of years but spent a lot of time out on the water this summer (typically early mornings!) and looking to do the same in the coming years. Have a good basic program down but need to learn more, so looking forward to getting advice as well as sharing what I know.

Cheers,

Tom

Welcome to the board!

Junk Jigs "BEST USE OF ACTUAL JUNK" category - "That tape should have been a prized possession and not junk. That will be a collectors item in 30 years!” & “There sure is a lot of junk in there.”

Welcome from Kent and hope you'll share the knowledge, nice fish!
Make sure you don't end up like to the two kayakers rescued off Alki.  I've wondered how the kayak rental group feels about sending people out in rentals, especially the winter.  Seems like they should include a rescue beacon type device and have a rescue boat on the ready...
