Hit the Swan Island basin this morning.  Met Beer Run (Bob), nice guy, and followed him around the corner by the dry dock.  Lots of boats and saw about 10-12 fish caught, including 1 for Beer Run.  I was skunked, and after awhile I headed back toward the boat ramp.  I was using a new rod and reel so I figured I was jinxed.

About 200 yards from the ramp I met a chatty dude named Dean and fished there awhile.  Caught a little baby to break the ice while Dean slayed them.  Then when I was about to call it quits I finally got a beast.  It was a slow day but ended up being a great day.  Great to meet Beer Run, Dean, and Sturgy the sturgeon.

Awesome Dungydog!!  Nice fish.  Was Dean in a Hobie double?  I chatted with him at the ramp on the way out.  Came up from Reno with his wife just to hit that fishery.

See ya on the water!
