Rockfish, halibut, salmon....... ready to catch them all.

With Hobie Revo 13.

Really want to get out in May for my first kayak halibut, hope to join up with a kayak group, any advice? Where, what beach? With who? Hit me up with a PM.

Also game for spring chinook on Rogue.

Back to Columbia Gorge (The Dalles) for the winter, will hit the Klickitat hard this fall.

As always, will have a six pack of good beer to share after the float.

Feel free to send a message or email to bookmark a good contact for fishing.

Also, REALLY want to hook into some leopard sharks this summer. Anybody have any advice? Hit me up with a PM.

Hey Nels, glad to see you signed up!  Howard told me you picked up a Revo.  Well done, you have yourself a lean fish-killin' machine now.

I'll make a couple trips south to Humboldt this summer for CA halibut, and it's fairly common to hook into leopard sharks in Humboldt Bay while targeting the halibut.  I'll let you know when I make those trips, maybe we can meet in Brookings and drive down from there.  The CA halibut fishery is very different from the Pac halibut fishery, but it's still a blast and the fish can potentially exceed the 30 pound range.  Live bait on a light spinning rod fished in the bay can make for some fun times.
