They actually did their first project on kickstarter many years ago and made it onto sites like REI - https://www.rei.com/product/116737/oru-kayak-bay-st-folding-kayak

I bought one of the first ones when I was car-less and wanted something bigger than my float tube but once I received it I knew it was never going to work for fishing remotely seriously so I sold it without ever floating it once.
