I'm Kyle,
UW CSE student grew up here fishing the sound and the coast most of my life. Recently in the last couple years took up kayak fishing, own a hobie TI and 2 outbacks. I mostly fish near lapush or neah bay when I have the time and the sound.

And the Seattle area group grows. Nice to have someone with Lapush/Neab Bay experience.  Are you going to try to hit the Halibut season May 10& 13th I think?  I'm yakless for a week having transferred the Trident 13 to another in the group and waiting for my Revolution 13 to get in.  Will be setting up ASAP.  Give a yell anytime.  One of the newer folks in Puyallup just picked up a nice outback and might be looking for tips.

Yes depending on my schedule. I was hoping to get there for the opener not 100% sure yet. If you need a loaner let me know I never use either of the outbacks unless im going solo.

Now you REALLY frustrate me. My old yak is gone, my new one isn’t here and won’t be in time for the butt season, my wife declares a b-day that weekend for a friend w/a one year old and then you offer an Outback.  :spittake: At least I know I can bring brewskis.

That said, really appreciate the offer. Stay tuned for a new shot at a gtg. Also, waiting for the new hook2 5 Lowrance to arrive and I’ll toss up a link for a gotomeeting so a group can watch YouTube’s on tutorials

I feel your pain.. I plan on doing a long day trip on the opener. I might pick up a hook2 for my new TI since they have the compatibility for transducers now. Keep me updated on what you think of it.
