I got in a new fishing hat today and I'm entirely impressed with it, especially for the price ($10, including shipping). Here's a link to the exact hat that I got.

This one is gray to hopefully not show stains as much a lighter color, but now that I have this hat in my hands I'm likely going to order the desert tan color that will be cooler on the hottest days of summer.

The AllAboutTheBait company is new and was created by Steve of the Key West Kayak Fishing channel on YouTube. I also highly recommend that channel, if only for its entertainment value alone. There were many days over the long, dreary winter that I didn't have the motivation to go out in my own kayak but got to watch him fish the keys.  8)

I contacted him to find out about sizing on this hat as I typically have problems with hats being too small, he said it is adjustable between 55-63 centimeters, unfortunately I'm right at 63 so guessed it would probably not fit.

Wow, that's a massive cranium you have there. I wear a size 7 1/2 hat, which is around 60cm in circumference or the bottom end of the "XL" size range. I have occasionally had issues with "one size fits all" hats being a bit too tight. A 63cm head is on the top end of the "XXL" size range, so you may have to find a specialty place to fix you up with a new fishing hat.

For handy reference for everyone, here's the conversion chart for head size in inches, centimeters, fitted and named size ranges.

I like to think it is all brains, but my wife tells me otherwise!

When I last bought a helmet for car racing I had to contact Bell to locate one big enough, the sales rep called it the "Big Head", sigh.
