Hey folks,

So living up in the NW coast of Forks Washington i get my fair share of salmon and bottom fish trips, but i have been really itching to get down to the Columbia for some sturgeon. I have heard too many great stories, and think it sounds like a blast!

I'm interested in CnR and retention season for next year. I'v been pointed to some good locations for launching and fishing on the Willamette, but that seems to be only a CnR river the past few years. I'm hoping to get some information from you guys that live that way for launching, and fishing spots of the lower Columbia, or any other helpful tips. I'm not asking for any secret honey holes just would like to do my homework, and get a general idea before making the trip.

Thanks guys!

"A venturesome minority will always be eager to get off on their own,
and no obstacle should be placed in their path;
let them take risk, for God sake, let them get lost, sun burnt, stranded, drowned,
eaten by bears, buried alive under avalanches -
that is the right and privilege of any free American."
