Ocean Salmon Treble Hooks?

Tuna is the most popular.  I use canned tuna as a base and add scent.  You will need to replace the tuna evry 25-30 minutes as it will leak through the holes.  Even with it empty fish will hit it though.

What Zach said, but get the tuna canned in oil.  You can try Pro-Cure "Bloody Tuna" if you want but I don't think it's more effective. 

Definitely Bumblebee canned tuna in oil.  Why Bumblebee?  It is cheap (so am I) and works.  One thing I have found is that I hook a few smolt every year in the bays, and on the Willamette, with the tuna filled.  I think they are chasing it to eat the bits falling out. It makes me sad.  Poor little guys.   

If I do choose to use a scent gel, I apply it to my dropper weight rather than the lure. It is much easier to wipe off the dropper weight than to clean out the lure.  It still creates a scent plume that your lure is constantly going through.
