Hello people! I'm relatively new to fishing in the Pacific Northwest, and I've only ever been Kayaking once. My wife noticed my obsession with watching YouTube videos on Kayak fishing. So, she surprised my son and me with new Hobie Outbacks for Christmas.

I'm in the South Sound area. Hopefully, I'll see you in the water sometime.

Please have your wife call and talk with my wife next December! What a great way for you and your son to spend time together. Welcome to the site.

Pretty awesome setup. Your wife either knows kayak fishing or had some help from the experts. My 14 yo son and I have been fishing the area for a couple years now. There's a lot of collective expertise on this site that will get you dialed in on kayak fishing in and around the Sound.

Hmm, a yellow Hobie Outback kayak and an Aliner camper. That combination has been seen in Oregon a few times, and it bodes well for you...

Welcome!

Thank you, everyone. I've been reading through the forums and I'm thankful there's much information people are willing to share.

Welcome to the forum.  I am not normally in this forum, but you can find me on FB on Kayak Fishing Addicts NW screen name Boun Sanong.  I too live in the South Sound and have been fishing MA11 since it is much closer to me.  Looking forward to seeing you on the waters with your son.
