I have a Standard Horizon HX208S you can borrow.

Thank you very much for the generous offer. I found a radio through my fb post. Look forward to fishing with you again Saturday.

Thank you again to all the organizers and volunteers for SBAOTD, this year was a fantastic event. My wife and I had to leave a bit early from the raffle and I didn't get to thank all of your properly, but I really appreciate all you guys stepping up and helping raise so much money for HOW. AOTD is definitely the event I look forward to most each year and I hope it can continue on in the future moving forward. If there's anything I can do to assist moving forward don't hesitate to ask. I am a long ways away, but willing to help as needed.

The food was outstanding as usual, thanks to the cooks, helpers, & all the great potluck dishes. Best attendance ever & over $3,850 raised for HOW.

Thank you to the event organizers! This was a fantastic event. I had a really good time and learned a lot there trying to target new species. Unfortunately on the drive home my wife and daughter were in a bad car accident. They were released from the hospital with bad bruises and lots of soreness. They were rear ended going down I five when slowing down for traffic. The person behind them did not stop. Lucky to have them both by my side today as I celebrate my wife and my seventh anniversary of marriage. Pictures don’t really do it justice.

Wow.  Glad they are ok.  That is pretty scary

Being retired, they pay me when I go fishing, therefore I am kind of a professional fisherman.

Zach,
So glad your family is ok, bruises will heal.
It's one of my worst fears, so many of us traveling so far..

Great time fishing and hanging with old friends and making some new ones.  The potluck was amazing.  So many good dishes.  I was stuffed.  Counting down the days till the next one!

Zach, we saw the accident on our way through.  There were multiple cars involved with one way off in the ditch.  We were on the frontage road so we couldn't stop and check on every one.  Glad everyone came through relatively ok and congrats on the anniversary.

What a mess, Zach!  Couldn't be happier it wasn't worse than it was.  Someone was looking out for the family, for sure.

I got a dish-by-dish accounting of the potluck from some guy with whom I often go fishing.  I'm told the food "was to die for" which is the highest praise that guy can give.  I've made a demand for a kid (or grandkid) to come down and watch the dogs next year so I can stay for the awards - and for dinner.

Big round of applause for the organizers (including Roy and Dudi).  You guys who were there for Challenge Day did a fantastic job on short notice.  And thanks to the sponsors for their generous donations.  Great stuff in the Captains' Bags.

I got to sit on the sidelines talking with Dana, which is almost as much fun as fishing.*  Thanks, Dana.

* That was another exaggeration, but it was fun.
The fish bite twice a day - just before we get here and right after we leave.

Oh no Zach! I'm glad it wasn't worse than it was but that is terrible! Prayers for a speedy recovery for both of them!

Unless I missed it in another post, can someone post the final results?

I was told that I got 6th place, which means my trend of getting 6th place every odd-numbered year continues - streak unbroken!
