I know that everyone by now has ther winter projects under way. For those of you that are rod wrappers and fly tiers here is a decent web site that has some good deals on blanks, thread and other stuff. Fly vices, power wrappers, thread art weavers, tools.
I have used them off and on for a few years and some times they have good deals on blank.

            www.mudhole.com

They have good deals on seeker rods, as well as lamaglas, American tackle, and a few others.

Have fun.
Matt

Not even winter yet, but we just got back online for the first time in 24+ hours; powers been out for 22 hours. In 10 hours, yesterday, we got 20+" of snow. Sun Mtn. Lodge had to evacuate their clients. Wonder what the weather's going to be like once winter starts?  :-\

I kind of figured you guys dumped on Bill. We lost power the other night too but only for about 8 hours. when I called it in on the cell the guy said I was about call 452 in 15 minutes. lots of outages. Thank God for wood stoves.

I concur.  My dad and I have used Mudhole a few times and they seem to be pretty good.  We have had a botched order or two and they promptly corrected it allowing us to keep their mistake....free blank!

That reminds me...I still need to finish last years project...two eyelets left + apoxy = a new bass rod.  The reel is just sittin in a box waiting to go.

Welcome islandboy!!!  You must be talking about that Panache.  Nice yak.  As well as those other boats you've built over time.  So ... is the "island" in islandboy "Vancouver Island"?

Thanks.  :) It is V.I., Victoria at the moment.  I am looking forward to getting out kayaking this summer - hopefully collecting a few salmon or halibut along the way.   :P
