Nice lookin' red YOTF. Looks to be getting pretty cold out there. Drysuit and all. How cold does it get during winter?

well my mom just told me that in walterboro, sc it is close to 80...suppost to be 70 this weekend in columbia....but that is abnormally hot in sc for this time of year...its gotten single digits at night before (not very often) average winter temperature is like 40-45 i think

Last Saturday the high was around 55...  This coming one it will be close to 80...

Average is in the 50's to low 60's duering the days, and high 30's, low 40's at night.

The water right now is high 40's...  I went with the dry suit versus the chest waders/gortex jacket last week because of the combination of cold water and weather...  This weekend, I will probably go with waders and gortex top, as the air temp will be in the high 60's low 70's....

what part of sc are u fishing...we used to fish edisto island alot but mostly for sharks...im coming home to columbia on saturday for over a week....haven't been home for a little while and i am looking forward to the nice weather

  I live on Saint Helena Island, the one just across Saint Helena Sound from Edisto....

  If you can get away fro a day trip while visiting Columbia, let me know....  I can get you a loaner yak and access to some killer red fishing this time of year.
