Looks like DB is going to be a bit too sporty for my liking on Wednesday 5.5ft@9sec and some noon wind gusts.
So, we are looking at hitting up Newport and launching from behind the Rogue Brewery around 7am.  Then shoot down towards the jetty fingers for some smaller rockfish.

Actually, small rockfish are better suited for sandwich material.   And the odds are good that is all we will find there anyway.  :-\

Regardless, I need to kill some fish already!   8)

If you are willing to launch without a ramp, you can wheel your stuff down to the crabbing dock behind Rogue for $$free.

Anyone have a site reserved at Chinook bend on sat night that they wouldn't mind sharing/letting me chip in on? Planning to come out in the evening and fish Sunday.  Just planning on sleeping in my car so no need for tent space
