Team Roy is planning a trip to the Umpqua river for some Dino fishing, either low down in Reedsport/Winchester Bay or 9 miles up 38 at Brandy Bar. Anyone want to go? hit me up if you do and i'll give you the specifics.

Semi-weather dependant. I'm not going if it's dumping and blowin but if it's just normal rain im still going.

Just got back from getting my license and tags...It's gonna be a good year of fishing.... ;D :headbang:

Oh, and the nerd in me needs to point out that archeology is the study of past human life.  I think you meant paleontology.   ;D

I don't know about you, but i'm not talking about the study of white people. I was talking about fishing for old things.....

"pale" ontology

yeah, your nerdy super powers have righted another wrong and saved a scientific term from being butchered.... >:D  ;)

Thanks Bro....

With my caveman level skills at image editing i scratched out a couple maps of the areas we are thinking about targeting. The first pic is down in reedsport/winchester bay. The red is a launch in reedsport and travel down river about a mile and a half i quess. The yellow is launch at winchester and go upriver to the marker/bouy 12. The launch is a bit farther down but cut a bit off the map. I'd say about the same distance as the red one, if i have the right area. Roy, is that the right area where that bouy 12 is?.

The second pic is about 9 miles up hwy 38 at brandy bar. Very short paddle/pedal.

The fishing is most likely better down in reedsport this time of year but is more exposed and affected by wind and weather. Looks like the conditions should be pretty good.

I kinda thought it was farther then that. Definetly farther then the red marked launch.

Weather report is still holding good for Saturday...
