is there someone that is going to be checking in foodstuff`s to get banded and what time should items be checked in by?set up time? what time should peeps be at the group area to eat? any certain times aiming for?

I've not seen any specific times posted/mentioned.  I believe that the tournament weigh-in ends at 2:30 - it will likely take a couple hours for everybody to get back to camp, put fishing gear away, and get ready - and Barb has volunteered to be at the fish station at Chinook Bend about 4:00.  I'd expect setup and cooking to start a bit after that.

For potluck contributions and wrist-banding, I'd hate to step on the toes of those with the great ideas above - perhaps Anthony and Craig/INSAYN can get the process going once setup has started!?!?!

I have way too much Napa cabbage.  I’m going to make a bunch of kimchi and I can bring the other giant head of cabbage to shred fresh for the fish tacos.

Be sure to accidentally leave a jar or two of that kimchi at my camp.

INSAYN where do you find the gluten free Pride of the West? Eastern Oregon is full gluten go. I'll be checking stores on my way down.

Disregard this, I found the one box out here.

I will make a bunch of chipotle aioli and tomatillo salsa if no one else is already making some.

I am happy to take a shift cooking too.
I would much rather be up a creek without a paddle than down one.

I can bring a second fryer for the gluten free folks and tater tots. I will bring oil as well.  I will help fry stuff.  Or, if you guys want, I can dig a couple hundred purple varnish clams and we can steam the graesy bastards.  ;D
You’ve inspired me. I’ll bring an extra fryer for people who want extra copious amounts of gluten (like, dangerous amounts). Instead of oil we’ll be using straight gluten to fry in. Am I getting the right idea here?

Sounds like you've got it!  Another fryer (or two) would be good - I think we've had 3+ going in the past just to keep up with the fish.  With a couple folks donating tots, we may need another.

-Sam
Oh man, I was being super sarcastic. I don't even own a fryer. Anybody got a fryer I can borrow?
On a serious note, I will bring some cheese, limes, and other miscellaneous things that go well on tacos.

No worries - I caught the sarcasm, was just hoping that it might spur some folks that have a fryer to offer up here.   :)  And the taco condiments will be a great addition!

For those looking to provide an item or two for the fish fry/potluck.

Items still needed for the fish tacos:
Fresh lime wedges
Shredded cabbage/lettuce
Shredded cheese
White and red sauce
Salsas

For potluck items:
Any kind of potato. Baked, scalloped, salad, etc.

Asian ramen salad
Pasta salad
Green salad + dressings

Bbq chicken
Bbq pork
Bbq beef
Grilled hotdogs/brats + buns

Use your imagination.

Thanks Craig!  In addition, looking back at prior years, some more items that we'll likely and/or definitely need:

chefs/prep knifes
large electric roaster (warmer) pans
salad tongs
cutting boards
thermometers for oil temp
trays
mixing bowls
paper plates
napkins
paper towels

I cheaped out on the avocados and got 7 big ones rather than 12ish or more. Those things are spendy!!

Actually, I ran out of packing room so these will have to do unless someone thinks we need more for some reason?

Warming Pans? Do you mean chafing dishes? Like for the fish and the tortillas? I own some I use for HOW stuff but they are heated with sterno not electric. Let me know if you want a couple of them.

The chafing dishes should work great for keeping fish/tortillas warm.  Thanks Anthony!

I can bring shredded cheese, unless someone else already plans to. How many pounds? I can also help fillet and cut up fish if I can talk myself into not heading back out for salmon after checking back in. Maybe there will be time for both🤷‍♂️
