I’m loving all the reports guys! Keep me coming!

Bpm2000: I’ve been fishing 120-160 FOW and dropping a Tomic (no flasher) down with the same number of feet on my downrigger as the water column. With the blow back, that puts my 6 lb ball at 15-20 feet off the bottom at a comfortable pedaling pace.

I love this! Here's the past week and a half from me jigging marine areas 9, 11, 12, 13 and combinations thereof.

Finally got one to the yak!  16lbs+ on the scale. Broke off a bigger one that was a heartbreaker but was able to convert this one soon after. Also got a small barely-keeper coho.

A10, all on jigs. Workhard - loving that hook setup you have on the jigs, been a game changer in my book. Thanks to Dawn Patrol for the tutelage out there.

Nice fish man! Nothing like a Chinook strike on a jig eh?

Love the direct connection of nothing but the line hook and the fish plus the slam. This fish made a bunch of surface runs and boils and I'm pretty sure it would have shaken off if I had the hook directly on the jig.

Thx for heads up, have been checking regs know it’s coming. Hope MA11 extends but looks like that quota getting up there too.

Further to workhard’s note- neighbor was at Armeni ramp midday today, WDFW checker told him they are planning on midnight Friday MA10 chinook closure.

I saw that jig set up (Workhard's) and then forgot how or which thread it was on.  Can anyone direct me to the correct thread...or repost the Wilson Dart set up.  Much appreciated!

Just bend the eyes of the jig at 90 degrees and thread a mooching leader though them with a bead between the jig and the hooks. It should slide up and down the line like a buzzbomb. Not my idea, it was taught to me by one of the best South Sound guys like 7 or 8 years ago and thought it made a lot of sense.

I’m just going to sneak this in here instead of starting a new thread.

Was looking for a decent spot for the weekend for a beginner/intermediate paddler. Was thinking PT. Defiance where I take my boat out but I’m concerned about the large boat traffic and being in my kayak. Any quieter areas producing around Tacoma or Gig Harbor? Anyone having any luck launching out of Dash Point or by Chambers Creek Mouth area? Cheers all.
