Hey All,

Been a forum lurker for last year or so and happy to have finally joined the NWKA community.  Have lived/fished in the NW since I was a kid and grew up stream fishing in the Oregon Coastal range (off Hwy 26).  Was just in 2018 that I finally decided to get a "serious" fishing kayak to finally venture further from the shorelines.  :)

Had so much fun this past year my wife decided to join me in her own kayak (granted she's a fair weather fisherwoman)!  Looking forward to learning more from all the folks here.  Often will find me at Hagg lake for quick getaways trying to figure out how to Bass fish and trolling for Trout to feed the 2 hungry kids at home.

Welcome to the forum Patrick.

I tend to fish Hagg Lake a lot since it's only 20 minutes from me.  I do ok for trout but I'm still trying to figure out the Bass fishing there.  It's usually hit or miss for me.

Thanks! Yes, Hagg lake is a bit of mystery. Other day trolling (expecting trout) I caught a catfish.  :)
